NRA Range Safety Officer Course
Description: Develops NRA Certified Range Safety Officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.
Details: This course is nine hours long and is conducted in a classroom and at a shooting facility. Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspection; range rules; range briefings; emergency procedures; and firearm stoppages and malfunctions.
Each Range Safety Officer Candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide, a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure and a Course Evaluation form.

Life long history & experience in Firearms have led me to become an NRA Firearms instructor and a NRA Chief Range Safety Officer. I had the pleasure of working together with our entire crew at the nation’s largest shooting facility until becoming the lead instructor at T&T Tactical. My passion is to educate as many people as humanly possible about the importance of firearm safety, personal protection and the shooting sports. As an NRA instructor it is my duty to share the knowledge that has been passed to me over the years to those who seek it.

I have been Senior Range Master several years at one of the country’s largest shooting facilities. I have the opportunity to instruct and improve the shooting skills of hundreds of customers every month. My knowledge of and personal firearms history is extensive. I volunteer with the North Las Vegas Police Department. We support law enforcement training and as a certified NRA Instructor, I intend to bring the best to our civilian firearms training.
